♦ Wonderful World Retreat!

  September 10-11 we will be hosting an exciting Women’s Retreat at our church entitled “Wonder Full World”. Women of all ages from our church and friends from Rapid City and Allen churches will be connecting with one another for worship, Bible study and reflection, prayer, food, fellowship and laughter.

Plan to join us for all or part of these special days. Sessions begin at 8:45 on Friday and Saturday mornings and will continue throughout the day on Friday and the event will end at noon on Saturday. During Wonder Full World, women will “travel” to each of the seven continents. While there, everyone explores the wonder of a women’s heart, such as “I wonder if I matter to God” or “I wonder where God is when life is hard.” Through the sessions of study and reflection, retreat guests will discover the depth of God’s love, strength and compassion.

The theme verse for the retreat is John 3:16—but this is just the starting point for all the scriptures that will guide women to understanding more of God’s heart for them! We will be having a “ROYAL BANQUET” on Friday evening, September 10. A fellowship “Agape Hour” at 6:00 pm will be followed by the banquet at 6:30 in the church fellowship hall. If you are unable to attend other sessions, we invite you to join in this fun event. So we can adequately plan for this meal, please sign the sheet at the back of the church on the bulletin board by Sunday, September 5. Cost for the banquet is $10.
